ICEとは......
ICE（インターシティ・エクスプレス）は、ドイツ国鉄（DB）が運行する高速列車です。最高時速300kmで走るICEは超近代的な設備を整え、ヨーロッパでもっとも優れた技術と快適性を備えた列車です。
ICEはスイスやオーストリア、オランダを含む隣国との国際線の運行もしています。ドイツ国内では充実のダイヤでケルン、ハノーバー、ベルリン、ミュンヘン、シュトゥットガルトといった主要都市を結びます。
ICEは列車の最高スピードが速いというだけでなく、一部列車ではカーブで傾斜技術を使って高速度を維持しています。また、一部のICEには運転席の後部に展望席（コックピットシート）があり、ここからは一般的な座席とは違った車窓の風景が楽しめます。

ICE車内の設計および案内は、お客様にとって可能な限りシンプルで分かりやすいものであるよう、心がけています。すべての車内アナウンスはドイツ語と英語で行われます。
簡単に列車の運行状況を確認できます。車両出入り口ドア付近にはディスプレイ画面に列車番号、行き先と途中停車駅、車両番号が表示されます。
各車両には情報提供モニターが設置され、列車の行き先、車両番号、途中停車駅、次に停車する駅と列車のスピードが表示されます。
すべての車両は空調システムにより快適な温度調整がなされています。また全席禁煙です。
レイルヨーロッパでご購入いただくICEのチケットは、包括運賃チケット（乗車券+指定券）です。座席指定券が含まれているので、安心です。
少額のデポジット（降車の際に返金）で手荷物を預けられます。鍵もかけられ安心です。
ファミリー向けのコンパートメントには、小さな遊び場を確保しました。乳幼児のおむつ交換スペースとしてもご利用いただけます。

A. You can make reservations to travel on TGV Lyria trains up to 3 months before your travel date. To take advantage of the best fares, always try to buy your ticket as early as possible. A. Eurostar Direct Services can connect you directly from London to Paris, but also Brussels, Lille, Disneyland Paris and on a seasonal basis to Avignon in summer and to the French Alps during winter with a single weekly connection.
A. TGV trains offer high-speed train services connecting the major cities of France. Paris is 58 minutes from Lille, and Bordeaux is just under 3 hours from the French capital. Travel time between Paris and Marseille is 3 hours. And if you want to get to Strasbourg, it will take you only 2 hours and 20 minutes from Paris by TGV.

A. A Swiss pass enables you to travel free of charge in the Swiss public transport services whereas a “point to point” ticket is a rail ticket valid on a specific route, between two city stations.
